So I have been playing 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game' a lot lately mainly due to the fact that I love the soundtrack (that and it is a good game but that's kinda off topic...) and so I began looking into the "Chiptune" scene and found that I love it a lot.

So I have decided to throw this question out into the forum in the hope that someone will be able to recommend a few bands I haven't heard of that are quite good. Below are a few links to some of the songs I have stumbled across and enjoyed...

P.S. Does anyone know where I can get the song that is at the start of a lot of 'Pewdiepie's' videos?

I've often got this online radio station playing.

It's just chiptune music playing 24/7

The High Voltage .SID Collection. 41000+ files and counting made for the Commodore64. I recommend The Sporting News Baseball [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ip-MbOSmlZY&feature=youtube_gdata_player][footnote]/GAMES/S-Z/Sporting_News_Baseball.sid[/footnote], Classic[footnote]/DEMOS/UNKNOWN/Classic.sid[/footnote], and Feedback Experiment[footnote]/MUSICIANS/S/Sonic_Graffiti/Hayes_ben/Feedback_Experiment.sid[/footnote] for what I hope are self-explanatory reasons.[footnote][sub]LRR fans should be able to pick up on these...[/sub][/footnote]

I'm surprised neither of these have been mentioned yet.

Not his most popular piece but it's one of my favourites by him.

Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon in 8-bit format. Time in particular is brilliant.

Sadly the album is no longer free to download but it is still awesome to listen to.

Hmm, the better stuff tends to be from outside of the chiptune niche with crossover from other genres. My artist picks would be

That Dark Side of the Moon stuff above is pretty tasty too.
