Feeling I needed a place for my insane writings and for other people to write their insane writings I have formed a user group. It is a place where our madness can be expressed without needing the proper scenario. Those of you who have read my Previously on the Escapist schtick know how much fun insane writing can be.

That's actually quite a good point. I was lucky with my Hitchhiker's Guide group being the featured group for an absurd amount of time, and my Kongregate Klub group pretty much only has my Twitter friends on it, and somehow the CEO of Kongregate found it, PMed me and joined, but that's about it.

It's hard to get your group out there without advertising it, and any advertising will be seen as too much advertising to many folk.

Either way, I'm joining the group.

But didn't you just... you kinda... but... now i'm confused, yet it all makes sense. , or does it? Probably not, but if there is no sense to be made, then it's already figured out.

Either way I'm counting this as "alerting" rather than advertising.

Because that one thread can possibly incur mod wrath.[/quote] First of all I don't think linking part of the Escapist counts as advertising, secondly John Funk plugged his Giant robot fan group in a thread and the staff tend to hold themselves to our rules, thirdly when considering whether this breaks any rules I worked under the "Air Bud clause" logic; if there is no rule saying you can't then you can.

It's quite rewarding.

And I hope you all will continue contributing to the babble there.
It's healthy to let the voices have their moments.
Otherwise, they just build up and eventually explode in a violent rage. This is fun to watch, but it results in one less interesting person on this planet after the inevitable hail of gunfire from the cops.
