A lot of games don't actually have a story to them, particularly arcade titles and games like Team Fortress 2. Now I know that a few of you are already trying to find this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/the-needles/6502-History-Lessons] article from a few weeks ago, so let me rephrase that. A lot of games don't have obvious stories and plots. So what do we do about that? We make some up, that's what.
Make sure you keep it clean, no fan fictions about the pilots from Space Invaders and Galaga getting it on. Feel free to add on to someone else's story, or make your own if they already did one for that game. It doesn't need to be a page long either. A simple "The people from TF2 are clones made by Black Mesa" is fine.
If any of them get good, I'll post summaries of them, and revise them over time, in spoilers here:
