OK peoples, NASA has left the job of naming yet another object that they are launching into space to us. What'd ya want? A long winded description? Just go to this link and either vote from one of their names or submit your own. The link will also describe the node in *way* better words than I did. When done, post what name you voted for. Enjoy!

I went for the name Gaia, but now I'm thinking the Beavis and Butt-head Memorial Space Station would have been good too. (ten points and a cookie to whoever can figure out what I'm referencing.)

Serenity's winning because c'mon! Firefly people! Then again, I have to agree with one of my fellow Browncoats, why do we want to name what essentially amounts to life support and a giant space toilet after the coolest space ship ever? But oh wells.

ARS? They are serious about that? Anyway, I'd like to vote Black Mesa, but can't see that going through under their criteria. I lumped for Serenity, for reasons already mentioned above.

I did Colbert pretty early on, its a must, besides poor Steven got screwed out of winning the name of the bridge in Turkey.

I'm pretty sure 4chan's been in full swing trying to get it named Xenu after Scientology's Galactic Overlord, which is what caught Colbert's attention in the first place, though I'm sure there are some on 4chan who are trying to push the idea of Rick Astley, Battletoads, or Mudkipz.

As for me, I switch it up everyday between Colbert and Xenu, because either of those two are delightfully humorous in my eyes.

yeah I noticed I put the wrong spelling, but then again I just woke up and don't even have my first sips of coffee in me yet so I'll letting myself slide alittle.

'Tis ok. I just didn't want you to be having a chat with some avid fan of the show and accidentally spell it wrong. The Colbert Nation can get quite upset over the mispelling for whatever reason.

Edit: As long as it isn't called MyYearBook I will be happy, though Xenu has slipped into fourth place among the top 10 suggestions.

Also, based on rule #4 of the contest that states that NASA has the right to make the final decision pretty much guarentees it will be something like Serenity, though I suppose we all can dream.
