Hey everyone, I figured I would do a Let's Play of a game I used to enjoy back in the late 90s to early 2000's on my outdated rig. Many people probably haven't heard of it as I have never really seen anyone talk about it online but I recently found it on GOG.com and am itching to play through it. It is an old game but it has some charm for me and it is simplistic enough that a Let's Play is really easy to do. I plan to simply go through the campaign one mission at a time. So without further delaying, Let's Play Cultures!
The campaign starts off with a meteor flying to earth and crashing nearby. I would love to put the intro video up for you guys to watch but I couldn't find it anywhere. Well, I found some Let's Plays but they are all in Dutch. What is important is a meteor crashed to earth and our tribe of villagers are going to go hunt for it. So our first mission begins, prepare for the journey.
So we basically have to gather some stuff. This first mission is pretty easy. This first mission is all about trade but I never really do it. I am going to use this first mission to familiarize myself with the game a bit since it has been a while. We already have a decent set up as far as buildings go since we start with a village. I immediately build a lumberjack tent to the south.

I thought you were supposed to repair those buildings but apparently not.they are just there taking up space from your settlement with no way to repair them. It doesn't matter though. I soon explore my surroundings and get quickly to work building a fisherman's tent on the eastern coast and a Hunter's tent to the north. As well as a carpenters tent and a clayworkers tent to get access to building houses. I will explain all this later in the second mission. I like to get out of the first mission as soon as possible as I don't even have access to everything in the game until after this mission.

I actually had taken a few more pictures of me playing around on this level while I waited for supplies to stockpile but I don't think I am going to post them. Since the second mission is where things pick up anyways. So I will speed through this mission and update the Let's Play tomorrow.
So now we wait while our little vikings get their boat loaded up and set sail toward the fallen meteor.
