Basically I have a stack of games here I'm thinking about selling. I'll list them, give a reason why I bought them, a reason to keep them, and a reason to sell them and you tell me what I should probably hang on to and what I should definitely sell. Keep in mind I'll more then likely be selling these at a yardsale, not at Gamestop or on Amazon.

Lost Planet 2 (PS3)
Why: Got it for free.
For: Gameplay is fun and challenging and I do genuinely love the games visual aesthetic.
Against: Only a scant few hundred people still play online these days and most of them are Chinese and ridiculously good at the game to the point where it's almost no fun.

MAG (PS3)
Why: $15 at Target.
For: Playing with/against 255 people is a pretty unique experience.
Against: MW2 is already my go-to shooter and MW3 is just around the corner.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (PS3)
Why: I played the demo on 360 and liked it.
For: Never finished it (But I already know what's going to happen so...)
Against: Gameplay gets stale fast. Plus the PS3 versions looks and runs like ass.

Fallout: New Vegas (360)
Why: I liked Fallout 3.
For: Never finished the main campaign or Lonesome Road
Against: Game got incredibly boring to me. That might have something to do with the atmosphere being nowhere near as good as Fallout 3's.

Brink (360)
Why: Hype, hype, and more hype.
For: The game is a good reminder as to why I shouldn't give in to hype and buy things on Day 1 at full price.
Against: Online is a ghost town.

Gears of War 2 (360)
Why: Wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
For: Can't really think of any.
Against: I didn't like it?

And here are some games that while they aren't in the same pile the above games are in, I'm thinking about adding them to it:

Bioshock 2 (PS3)
Why: It was cheap and I liked the original Bioshock
For: Campaign was enjoyable and I genuinely enjoy the multiplayer, which I think is vastly underrated.
Against: Can't really think of any other than that I don't play it as much these days.

Halo: Reach (360)
Why: Peer pressure.
For: The campaign (Which I haven't finished) is great and I enjoy Horde mode.
Against: The friends who begged me to get it never play it.

Modern Warfare 2 (360)
Why: Tearing up the opposing team with an AA-12, that's why.
For: Still enjoy it.
Against: Like I said, MW3 is just around the corner and the online already lost a ton of players to Black Ops.

So, what should I hang on to and what should I definitely sell?

And please, don't reply with "You shouldn't sell any of your games!"

More points to add

Gow 2
Keep: The single player, if you'd like to replay it sometime.
Sell: Gow3 is out and most people will upgrade or buy the new one.

Lost planet 2
Keep: Uhm... I don't know. To get all the upgrades n' stuff?
Sell: People has abandoned ship, hurry before all it takes you down with it O:

Brink
Keep: Sell it.
Sell: Yes, Sell it.

Not the most helpful input, it's a hard decision weather or not to sell one's games.

You could make about £36($57) if you sell them

(I did some "research")

I guess all of it. I can't help thinking there's something wrong with anyone who preferred FO3 to New Vegas... Also all the DLC is awesome. So maybe keep that one.

I rarely sell or exchange my games, mainly because I can't, one of the disadvantages of being a PC gamer, but when my Cube still worked and I had the 360, I rarely did so.

Lost Planet 2
Can't really give an opinion on this one.

MAG
Ditto

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
I'd like to play this game and maybe you should finish it first to properly decide if it's for you or not.

Fallout: New Vegas
I really enjoyed this game, but, again, I have the PC version highly modded, so...

Brink
Break it. Smash it. Throw it. Sell it. Do whatever you want with it. What a pice of shit.

Gears of War 2
Great game, especially playing in co-op with a friend.

Bioshock 2
Can't give an opinion on this one, but if you enjoyed it, why would you want to sell it? (again, I like to keep my games)

Halo: Reach
I think that one of the worst thing you can do is to buy something you don't like. If you really enjoy this game, but only want to play MP with your friends, just ignore them and start playing MP on your own. Or if MP is not your thing, then there's nothing stopping you from selling the game.

Modern Warfare 2
Can't give an opinion, but given the state of things with COD, as soon as a new game gets released, almost everyone will jump into that game and leave the older ones like a barren wasteland. If you really enjoy this game, then keep it.

EDIT: I just noticed your argument against Enslaved. I can't help but feel that Ninja Theory intentionally screwed the PS version because of the Heavenly Sword row.
Yeah the difference in quality between the 360 demo I played and the actual game on PS3 is like night and day. After playing the game for awhile I went back and re-downloaded the demo on the 360 just to make sure I wasn't crazy.

Lost Planet 2 (PS3)
Sell. If it's no longer any fun, then there's no point in keeping it.

MAG (PS3)
Keep. It doesn't have to be either or, and you may want a break from MW3 for something a bit different.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (PS3)
Sell. If you don't enjoy it, then there's (again) no point in keeping it.

Fallout: New Vegas (360)
Sell. For the same reason I've said sell every other time.

Brink (360)
Sell. You don't need to keep it to remind yourself how bad it was, minimise your loss by getting some money for it.

Gears of War 2 (360)
Sell. See reasons given for Lost Planet, Enslaved and Fallout.

Bioshock 2 (PS3)
Keep, you never know when you'll want to replay it.

Halo: Reach (360)
I'm not going to give an opinion here since it'll be highly biased.
BURN IT!!!

Modern Warfare 2 (360)
Sell. It's what I did, and Black Ops was a better game anyway.

Also, If I were you I'd sell the ones you're going to sell to Gamestop, you might not get as much money for some, but it'll be easier in the long run. And contrary to some opinions, used sales are not killing the industry.

Thanks for the input, but like I said, I'm going to try and sell these games at a yard sale first at my price, try to make as much back as I can. Don't want to bring them all to Gamestop and only get like $20-$30 for the lot.

Plus I just hate dealing with the people who work at Gamestop. They're all miserable assholes.

Huh, wierd, I just decided today I was gonna sell six of my games to get enough to buy Skyrim.

You mixed up the For/Against on Brink and MAG.

I think in truth you should sell all of them. I go with the idea of "If I'm contemplating selling them, even if I did randomly get the desire to play it I could most likely rent it for cheap, get it out of my system, then take it back in five days."

Hell, once took in 9 games of mine, didn't know about Gamestop's +10$ for every three games that are worth over two dollars, ended up with #104 in store credit...Hell yes.

Brink: Sellity sellity sell (those aren't words, but a game as terrible as Brink needs new words invented for them to describe it's terribleness)
Halo Reach: Keep
MW2: Keep until MW3 then sell.
Bioshock 2: Up to you
FNV: Keep
MAG: Up to you
Lost Planet 2: Up to you
Enslaved: Sell
