So anyone who is not familiar with this, is that on youtube the are people that upload themselves playing games, and giving tips trick and simple walkthrough.
I personalty enjoy this and I"m ever tempted to make my own. (Probably Wow)

So what about you the escapist from mobs, Do you like Let's play, and do you subscribe to let's play channels.

I like them, and yes, I do subscribe to them every now and then.

Just recently I began watching a Medieval 2 Total War Let's Play. Quite entertaining.

Yeah I watch them.

I saw a good hitman one (can't remember who by) and of course Spoony's SWAT 4 series.

I watched a Let's Play (or several, actually) for I Wanna Be The Guy.
I actually watched a couple of them, then played through the game, then watched the rest.
They were pretty hilarious because I could really relate with the guy, getting quite frustrated with the game's unforgiving difficulty.

Not usually, but I've watched Let's Plays of SWAT4 and Star Trek Elite Force by Spoony and Linkara respectively on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com. They're both really fun, and maybe I may do one myself some day.

There are quite a lot of pretty amusing let's players on YouTube, such as:

1. Helloween4545 [http://www.youtube.com/user/Helloween4545]
2. Kikoskia [http://www.youtube.com/user/Kikoskia]
3. Toegoff [http://www.youtube.com/user/Toegoff]

Checking Helloween4545's channel every evening has become a part of my routine, like ZP on Wednesdays or Unskippable on Mondays. He's currently doing AvP, but the previous ones, such as Cryostasis, Call of Cthulhu, Dead Space and FEAR, were absolutely hilarious as well.

Worth checking out in my personal opinion :)

Nah. I'd prefer to play the game myself. I don't like the constant wittering either, I find myself switching between focusing on the wittering and focusing on the game, which is annoying.

Speed runs are great, however, and I like some frag movies and match playthroughs - preferably of online FPS games made before 2000.

I like the machinima respawn style ones, sadly they're mostly for MW2. I did do one for my channel when the passing came out, for L4D2.

I suggest you just go for it, it's good fun.

I've done that a few times and it helped out when looking for tips and secrets in the game. The only problem is that sometimes the people doing the walkthroughs just need to shut up and play the bloody game.

I would actually want to know how to make compelling Let's Plays. I tried doing one once and I am not happy with the result.

I enjoy watching let's plays on youtube, currently there are 2 really entertaining british guys, they're hilarious, and have no connection with each other

I recommend full heartetly that you youtube either Kikoskia (he plays games from his youth,if you like retro and rpgs and such) and Helloween(plays mostly horror games)

Not even if you pull a gun to my head will I decide which one is funnier or more entertaining

Also,a good alternative to watching LP is to watch live streams of games,or broadcast them yourself
