Happy year of the Dragon everybody

You know, when I went to Costa Rica, I was told it was illegal to go up on the side of the volcano, because it was active and unsafe. And yet these guys see no problem with it
You've been to Costa Rica?

Did you visit Isla Nublar while you were there?

You know, I actually had to google that before I remembered what it was from. Silly brain.

Sadly, no. I did get to see a volcano though.

Did you read the books? They were pretty good, IMHO

No I haven't, but I'm curious.

If they're anything like the movies (I know there are differences) then I'll enjoy them.

Question time: What do you generally save your master ball for?
Either an obscenely powerful pokemon I dont feel like pissing around with in battle or I just use it randomly. If i see a Shiny and have all the ubers legendaries, I use the masterball then.

I consider it on my top 10 book list.

My response seeing you name it that:

That was a good review. Just wondering what the Pokemon did all that time since it lived for millions of years. Just stand there waiting for some... one to bump into it? Probably is the most patient Pokemon or living thing in all of history if you ask me.
He's got no limit to what he's willing to wait for.

Personally, at this point, I find it annoying that 99% of my ultra balls just get wasted. #OccupyPokeMart #WeAreThe99Percent

[HEADING=2]Let?s Play: Pokemon Ruby Post Game 3: In which we catch another powerful entity[/HEADING]

I should start by saying that I spent 2 hours looking for Latios, and was unable to find him. There's a good chance I may not be able to. Sorry Solo-wing

You know what time it is!

Man, they need to get better contractors. There's holes in the floor everywhere! I'm calling OSHA [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupational_Safety_and_Health_Administration]!

This was much harder to do on an emulator than I would have expected

So here we are.

It didn't just "Appear", my friend

But then: GLOBAL WARMING!

Happy year of the Dragon everybody

Better check to see how the world is doing now

This place looks fine

We could fight again, but we won't

Same goes for this guy

You know, when I went to Costa Rica, I was told it was illegal to go up on the side of the volcano, because it was active and unsafe. And yet these guys see no problem with it

The world looks like it's doing fine

But one foe remains

Next time: The real final battle

Question time: What do you generally save your master ball for?
Usually for any legendaries (depends on the game).

I normally save it for a legendary wandering the region or a really high level one such as rayquaza. I did make the mistake of wasting my Master Ball on Groudon, when I played Ruby by accident, so when it came to catching Rayquaza that was hard, but over 120 ultra balls and many soft resets I finally got him.

I usually end up using it on the first Legendary I see. Not a smart move, but what the hell?

It's the final final battle here. Against the most evil foe in all the game

Why do I get the idea that he just crawled under the cushion but was still in plain sight?

This has got to be a safety hazard of some sort. Right?

You simply slide around across the polished floor.

They saved the worst for last!

He's gone? For good?

And thus ends the chapter in our story for Raven. But the book is not quite done
Join me, won't you, for our next chapter into the world of pokemon?
For our new story begins right here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.340021-Lets-Play-Pokemon-FireRed]

I was thinking the ssame actually.

Anyway, and so ends the Tale of Raven and her quest to destroy the ultimate evil that was known as the "Trick Master" (and in the process, being forced to become a grand champion). truly a legend such that it will be passed down generations, and in Ten Millennium's time her victor and conquest will be fresh in the minds of the trainers she saved.

...

so yeah. and if you want any closing thoughts (not that you asked I guess, but just if you do), I feel it would have been fun to see you try and become contest grand champion, if only for one category.

To be honest, this was sorta something I had planned from the very start: ending after we got rid of the trick master.

I think I'll save the comedic gold for the next LP. Because I have to think up a way to bring that one to a close when I need to.
