If you're a fan of browser-based games and the name Travian rings a bell, you might find this interesting. Imperion is a new project by the same developer and it kicks all kinds of ass, plus it looks suspiciously a lot like Starcraft 2 in its units and artwork (and that's good...right?). The game's first server launched about 2 months ago, and although it is generally not good to start 2 months late in a game like this, it's still a fun little game to play and explore the races, mechanics and tech trees until a second server is launched, where you can compete fully from the beginning. Game's free to play, although it does offer some advantages if you pay, but it doesn't twist your arm too much. Give it a try.
