Let's Play The Spirit Engine 2

Ladies and Gentlemen, I bring you my LP of The Spirit Engine 2, I welcome you all to enjoy the amazing story of this charming game.

The first step of course is to choose our band of adventurers, there are three slots and one character must be chosen from each, I'll post your choices below.

Righto, go right ahead and choose the three characters you want and I'll see which ones turn up the most. It's advisable to have a knight, preist and muskeeter so you have something for every situation but it is possible to work around that if you know what you're doing.

Party-wise, my vote's on Mericious/Pyan Pau/Grace because of the fun party interactions, and because running multiple priests [http://www.giantitp.com/comics/images/oots0077.gif] is actually pretty viable if you keep a smokescreen up. Although if we want a balanced party, Kaltos/Charlotte/Enshadu was my first run, and those had an interesting story as well.

I would say story is way above average, world is waaaaay above average - both are consistently high quality and have genuinely original moments. The game's sort of a sidescrolling party-based RPG with turn-based and realtime elements, and I would consider the combat head and shoulders above something like Dragon Age: Origins, especially in terms of balance and tactical flexibility.

Thanks for the vote, I've heard Mericious and Pyan Pau had some fun dialogue but I haven't done a playthrough with those two in the party yet.
