Let's Play!

Let's Play! A while back I read/watched heaps of these. Everything from Animal Crossing to Half-Life 2. But there are certainly some I have missed.

So my first question is: What is your favorite Let's Play? And why?

But there aren't much discussion material in that question, so here is another one:
Which kind of let's play do you think is the best? What does it need to contain to make you read on? Is it important that it sticks to the game, and just show how it is? Or do you like it when it is roleplayed? Or maybe just being wacky fun?

Some of my favorites are the wacky fun ones. Like this one of Half Life... er... 2 [http://www.letsplayarchive.com/]. I really applaud the writers mind for coming up with all of that.

One of the reasons why I ask this, is because I am making my own. And I want to know what people think I need to make it good. I know that no-one like advertising, so I won't link you too it unless I get permission
But every reply in this thread might help me make my Let's Play Fallout 3 better.

My favorite Let's Play is probably one from RaidouFrost on youtube.

He has the most awesome voice ever and tons of funny scenes. One time he did a Let's Play on the first Metal Gear game for the NES, and pretended he was Snake (and with his dark voice he actually sounds a lot like him)

Anything by RaidouFrost on youtube is recommended.

As a completely objective source on LPs who would never pothole a link to his own channel [http://www.youtube.com/user/CruelestChris] in a thread, I'd recommend Wolfshirt's Let's Play Ghouls 'n' Ghosts [http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/GnG/] and The Dark Id's Let's Play Resident Evil 4 [http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/RE4/].

For something a little different where the game's so silly you don't really need to say anything, try Genpei Turtle's Let's Play Metal Wolf Chaos [http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/Metal%20Wolf%20Chaos/].

And of course Let's Play Trespasser [http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/Trespasser/], because it can heal the sick and walk on water and shit.

Definitely this one, by far [http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/KOTOR%202/]. One of the most comprehensive, humourous and enjoyable Let's Plays I've ever had the fortune of finding.

I'll have to check that out. I really don't like MGS at all, but I love watching Let's Plays from it Probably because most people find a lot of those games to be ridiculous, and then jokes a lot about it while playing.

Oh, he's not playing Metal Gear Solid, he's playing the original Metal Gear game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Haven't seen that many Let's Play! but I loved Spoony's "Let's Play Phantasmagoria 2: Puzzle Of The Flesh"! Yeeeeah! Spoony in general, is a very entertaining man.

I've enjoyed following http://www.spoonyexperiment.com/video-list/ . Although he lists them as reviews, I recommend checking out the Swat 4 play through and his Phantasmagoria 2 play through. The rest of the videos are pretty enjoyable too.

Also...Kaizo Mario World. Watch it for the playing, watch it for the mental breakdowns, just try watching it.

LP's are the reason I orginally joined the SA forums, tons and tons of great ones (Like the GTA:SA SSLP, recently the DMC3 one, and almost everything the freelance astronauts do)
