Been playing through the brilliant Human Revolution and having a great time sneaking around, hacking, silent takedowns etc. The dialogue battles and persuasion is pretty good and I was really enjoying the story and breadth of the game.

Then came the first boss battle. Why? Why did they put that boss battle in? Not only is it very out of place especially with my stealthy play style...but you have to reload and go through a cutscene and door to try again! Why? It seems so wrong in such an otherwise good, open ended game.

So 1. What do you think of the game and the boss battles?
and 2. Will someone complete the first boss for me if I send you my save file or am I just going to have to grind my way through?

Yeah the boss battles don't exactly fit with the rest of the game, I believe they were outsourced and developed by a different studio, if I recall. Evidently, I didn't have as much trouble as other people though, even on my non-lethal playthrough. A tip for the first boss battle, if you're non lethal, there's throwable objects around the room, like explosive barrels. Throw those at him.

Oh, and for anyone who's interested, the director's cut version of the game is coming out at the end of September, which includes 'redone boss battles', among other things.
