There are 3 websites I always have open, this, youtube and facebook.
All 3 have changed there layouts at the roughly same time and all seem to be looking kinda similar to each other.
Open a new tab to the escapist homepage and notice how it's all titles jammed into the smallest space possible. Not to mention those rather annoying headers (news, features, vids, reviews etc making me click on the wrong thing 'cos they come down as soon as your cursor goes near them!)
Now youtube, titles all down the left side and the top, while thumb nails and titles in the middle and to the right all "maximizing space".
Finally the new facebook timeline layout is like a newspaper with a huge picture on the top and no real white space to break it up. You have to put a touch of effort in to see which is the status update and which are the comments to it.
I know I shouldn't say this 'cos you are never the only one but "am I the only one to notice this"? What are your thoughts and stuff?
I think it looks very cluttered, I will get used to it obviously but I feel a little over whelmed at the moment!
