Goober. My parents nicknamed me that when I was born because i looked like "a goober". I was called that by my family and friends, most of the town knew me as Goober, many people had to ask me what my real name was.

Semi-boner - One of my friend's was bored one day. After hearing the word "Semi-colon", he looked over at me and said "Semi-Colin" (which is my first name) and put two and two together and came up with "Semi-Pherson!" Then later in the year, during a computer class, a few friends decided to change the names of everyone's file's last names to boner. Since mine was already change to Semi-Pherson, it was changed to Semi-Boner.

And thus, Pherson the Half-Hard was born.
I too have had the "Semi-colon" joke done to me, luckly i got away getting called just "semI" Empasis on the "I" for about 2 weeks in school before it died down.

I did used to get called Homie, or Homeboy is school too, because i used to wear these 3/4 lenghers to P.E and people said i looked like i was a wannabe rapper.

As I have the largest library of DvDs and games out of my friends and tend to lend them, they gave me the nickname "The Archive".

Christopher is usually shortened to Chris for simple short hand but other than that, no real nicknames. If I were to get a nickname, I'd hope it was something relating to Heavy Metal

Only nickname I have is one I inherited from my grandfather: Jack.

My real name is John, and my understanding is that in the UK (I'm 1/4 English, 1/4 Irish) Jack is a common nickname for John.
Well, my actual name is Jack, after my great grandfather. However, I my middle name was given to me so I could receive my OTHER great grandad's nickname "JD".

Also, Binnsy, Binnsyboy, the Sarky Dwarf, Jack Sparrow, and Trilby Guy.

My nickname was Ninja in high school. Why, Because my friend asked some upper classman randomly what I looked like and he said "He looks like a ninja" They have called me ninja ever since.
... I'd've thought you look more like an X-Man, personally...(!)

OT: In primary school and some of high school, it was 'Einstein', for reasons based on intellect...

In general though, my nickname is 'Fatso', despite being 179cm tall, and weighing 66kgs.

And in martial arts circles, I'm called 'Heihachi'... and I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or not...

Mitch doesn't really count because it's a shorter version of my name (Mitchell), the nickname I've been stuck with since my classmates gained a larger repertoire of curses has been "*****". However, due to my relatively short time I've lived in different places (3 years In Berlin is the current high score) I really don't get nicknames, nor do they stick. However, my nickname in the scouts has remained a little bit longer "Scotty" (from ST), because I was always the guy who fixed things and tried to approach problems from a "scientific" perspective.

"Barry"- It's my dad's middle name and what I asked to be called by a teacher who was having trouble with names the first day of school. I am now referred to as Barry.
"Willy"- A couple of guys at robotics camp a few years back were working with a British kid, and decided that since Willy is a British euphemism for the male sex organ, I should have that name. It was actually pretty funny, too.
"Marcel"- We had to choose names for French class, and I grabbed Marcel. It's awesome.
Various attempts of making nicknames out of my first name have been tried and have all failed.
McKinley is just such an awkward name...

"OG" (Other Guy)- My brother is 6'4" and we were janiteering at a high school during a summer where we had a crew of about fourteen or fifteen people. Obviously it took a week or two to get everyone's names down, so on either the first or second day, one of the other workers was trying to get my brother's attention so he yelled, "Hey you, uhh, Tall Guy" so that was my brother's nickname. They then decided to call me Other Guy so it would be Tall Guy and Other Guy.

My last name- It's almost a curse in my dad's family. Every male in school on my dad's side is known by their last name, almost no exceptions.

My friends have called me Rei for years, even before I had seen Neon Genesis Evangelion. I guess that's what passes as a nickname for me. Aside from that... people just call me by my name. Sometimes it pays to have a short name. :3

So far I've consisted of three nicknames, the first used by several different teachers and the last two used by friends.

"Raisin" - Mis-pronounciation of my first name

"Mini-Mart" - I always carry tons of stuff around, usually anything my friends need, I have with me

"Creeper" - Because I can creep my friends out (not the creepers in Minecraft)

Hmmm...

Let's See, not counting short versions of my name:
Kramer - Last name
Powder - I don't tan well, so I'm very pale. One of my co-workers thought I was albino and decided to name me after the movie Powder.
Asshole - An in-joke I have at work. I'm one of the nicest employees, but I have the highest amount of customer complaints, due to the fact that I can actually say "No" and I frequently do. And a lot of the customers have called me that, and my co-workers jokingly call me it to make fun of stupid customers.
