Silly John, Shadow Priests can't heal.
that is a false and hurtful stereotype. we may not have all your fancy talents, and we may only get healing gear when it's on rot, but a shadow priest is capable of healing anything preraid!

...at least that was true in TBC. i went on hiatus before WotLK. but i did heal heroics and even kara as shadow.

Well what people forget is that gamers are people too (Duh!) And most are intelligent anyway...

I mean I've had plenty of experience running virtual nations. Building army's, managing the economy, planing raids, diplomacy, puppet mastery... Can't be that hard right? :p Just got to hit the upgrade button lots.

^ ^ ^ ^
Speaking of politics...
I still can't believe people are complaining about Obama hitting the "upgrade health system" button.

It gives a +10 bonus to the health of all units, and a -10 on the cost of healing...

Well at least he isn't a death knight. Don't need that kind of ego in a political office. Illinois tried that with its governor, look where that got em?
Fix'd it for ya.
We paladins of the working specs (Prot and holy) don't like being stereotyped with our ret brothers. (just kidding rets...or am I?)[/quote]

I fixed it back :p nyeh. How many prot and holy pallies have I had to listen to brag about how they can solo ANYTHING? Mostly because they leave their party in the dust, so they can't testify to either side.
"I will solo this bill all the way to DC! For the Light!"

We need a troll shaman to run against him then we can truly have a nerd-off/nerdgasm/some other word prefixed with nerd. Lok'tar Ogar!

Anyone who plays everquest would be the equivalent of Ralph Nader.

Shadow Priest = Fail. If he played an actually useful class/spec he might be a candidate...

Welp the kids of the Video game generation are now old enough to run for office.

I encourage this...

Good heavens talk about a gravedig! September 2009 was the post before you, how did you find this?

I wonder though, has he been elected already? I mean, it's been well over 2 years now. Also, I wonder whether he still plays or not.

He took office as the 9th Lieutenant Governor of Guam on January 3, 2011, having won the gubernatorial election in November 2010 with now Governor Eddie Calvo.

Well there ya go, shame he's a Republican though.

Party politics aside, it's something we're going to see a lot more often. The Baby Boomers who are in power today are going to die, and will be replaced by generations from which a large percentage has been in proper contact with videogames. I wonder what that's going to do to the entertainment industry and things like rating laws.

But more interesting than the videogame generation will be the most recent one; the social media generation. What will happen when they will be in control.

...

Good gods, may the Nine watch over us.

Granted this post is 2 years old, but I just stumbled upon it and it's kinda surreal. You see I'm pretty sure I used to raid with this guy back in Vanilla WoW, just goes to show, you never know who'll you'll really be partying with.
