As part of the marketing campaign for Batman vs Superman, WB has delivered a mock interview with Lex Luthor for Wired.

Oh my god, Lex said that criminals are cowardly and superstitious.

I also like that he almost sounds like he's treating Superman the same way Donald Trump treats mexicans. I wonder if there was some post-script re-writing involved...

I doubt it. It's not like Donald Trump is saying anything NEW in the political sphere, he's just saying it bluntly, which is what people latch on to. Stephen Colbert was advocating a lot of Trump's legitimate views as a parody character long before Trump gained any real headway. But that's already too close to political discussion for my tastes or this board, so I'll leave it there.

This was a neat interview. Lots of sly digs at the lore ("a lone vigilante can't change the world unless he has billions of dollars at his disposal," lol) while providing insight into the character. A lot of it read well in both my definitive Lex voice (Clancy Brown) and in Jesse Eisenburg's nasally "Zuckerberg" voice. That graph was also interesting. Wayne Enterprises doesn't seem to be the financial juggernaut it's usually depicted as. I bet that'll play into the movies somehow.

I thought so too, until I looked again. It's not a company grand worth graph, but a military R&D spending graph. So Wayne being on the bottom makes sense, seeing as the only money it spends on military projects are the Batman's toys. Which makes that number really impressive, actually - 97 million dollars just to make the Batmobile, Batplane, and Batsuit. Damn.

Oh yeah, fair point. I guess 2 billion would be pretty low for an evil Facebook/Google pastiche. Also, the hell is Geschaft Krieg? That's the only one that is totally unfamiliar to me.

Read the article awhile ago. And after reading the graph, one question comes to mind...

...Can we see Green Arrow in the DCEU at some point? Prety please? :)

Apparently, 'properly' translated, its Krieg Industries. I saw some speculation that its related to Cyborg, because some dude named Krieg was related to that in Smallville.

Truth be told, I dunno.

At some time, probably. Any time soon? I hope to God not. DC already has a congestion problem.

Whose the crimson building graph refer to? That's the only character reference I didn't get.
