The "What do you think of rap thread?" inspired me to make this thread.

So the mighty rap/hip-hop gods have given you a license to ill(a literal one that goes in your wallet) but before you go out onto the street spitting ill rhymes you need a name. So Escapists what's your hip-hop stage name?

To reflect the funky beats I'll be putting out I've chosen the name "Bee-Fun-Kay"

Also, include your favourite names used by artists in the real world, if you want.

Huh. Reading the title I thought this was about illnesses.
Reading about "license to ill" I thought this was about having the power to give someone an illness of your choice.

Now I'm disappointed. Disappointed and not able to contribute. I haven't even heard of the word ill being particularly connected with hip-hop so far.

"Licensed to ill" is a reference to the Beastie Boys' album of the same name. I'm pretty sure ill is slang for great skill.

I was expecting someone to be making a bad joke and the thread to actually have nothing to do with The Beastie Boys.

I once promised my A-Level maths teacher that if I ever became a famous rapper I would call myself MC Logarhythm. I doubt I could ever come up with something better.
