Please contribute to this topic by giving me your thoughts on how life would be if games consoles weren't invented, and tell what you are interested in when your not immersed in a good game :D

If games were not around as we know them life would be fundamentally different. To expand on that I will take the example of console games of nowadays, before video games came around, games existed, outdoor games/mind games/and so on, console games were the logical extension of preexisting games through the medium of technology so to not have games in modern day you would have to extract the entire notion of games and fun from humans, something inherent and inbuilt not only in history but straight into our minds and bodies from birth.

Hmm, i agree, it is simply an expansion of what you could call outdoor games, and then the media was expanded and so FPS and RPG's were born, thank you for your thoughts. :)
