'Lightweight' series - suggestions?

Greetings fellow Escapists!

I was looking for some 'lightweight' series to watch and figured the folks here might be able to help me. 'Lightweight' meaning here: "stuff that isn't extremely tense (The Pacific), complicated (Lost) or otherwise hard to follow (Star Trek), is mostly comedic though not overly so (Frasier, Two and a Half Men) but does have an interesting edge to it". Think series like "The Big Bang Theory", "Scrubs" or "Coupling".
