I was referring to the single-player campaign.Cowabungaa said:If you've ever played a Battlefield game; no worries about that my friend. The multiplayers are so very very different indeed.
Eh, Battlefield has only marginally, mostly with the Bad Company series, bothered with singleplayer. Battlefield 2 didn't even have anything more than practice matches with bots. I wouldn't pay much attention to it.-Drifter- said:I was referring to the single-player campaign.Cowabungaa said:If you've ever played a Battlefield game; no worries about that my friend. You mean like, from auto/burst to semi-automatic?sooperman said:Here's a tip for free, DICE: Give us a teaser trailer in which the player character toggles the fire selector on his rifle,, and I can promise that pre-orders will skyrocket.

I'm judging this game on it's own merits, and if they're focusing this much attention on the campaign, then I'm going to expect something decent in that department.Cowabungaa said:Eh, Battlefield has only marginally, mostly with the Bad Company series, bothered with singleplayer. Good point, can't argue with that. They're certainly marketing it on it's singleplayer experience. I find that a wee bit odd in the case of Battlefield. Bad Company's singleplayer was halfway decent, no epic (if nonsenical) adrenaline ride like CoD, but still alright, but in the end it was all about the multiplayer.-Drifter- said:I'm judging this game on it's own merits, and if they're focusing this much attention on the campaign, then I'm going to expect something decent in that department.Cowabungaa said:Eh, Battlefield has only marginally, mostly with the Bad Company series, bothered with singleplayer. Aw what the hell?! 90% Of that video is just the previous 3 episodes strung together! I feel cheated now.OhJohnNo said:And here it is [http://www.godisageek.com/2011/04/12-minutes-battlefield-3-gameplay-trailer/].
A small thing, but I loved the option in Crysis 2. It'd be a welcome thing in BF3 as well.sooperman said:Yep. Nearly every weapon issued in the military has one, so there's no reason not to.
Are you talking about the game itself, or the trailers?Donnyp said:OT: I seem to be one of the few not looking forward to this. My buddy was talking about it and was saying how great it's going to be but i don't see it...someone help?
