If you ever checked out his blog/website you'd know that, however much acting like that was genuinely part of his personality, he was perfectly aware that he was creating shitstorms and was doing it intentionally to garner attention.

No LilithSlave is NOT that bad. She gets defensive and can be passive aggressive, but Zeel was a thundering lunatic. He would just relentlessly try to get under your skin. And if you replied to him calmly, he'd eventually ignore you in favor of someone more excitable.

I hated him at first, but after a while he was almost an institution. How do you make fun of a clown?

The fact that we even need to have this conversation, comparing forum trolls and notable lunatics here to really get the frame of reference for a LilithSlave thread is incredibly sad.

And again, I'm not being a downer on this thread because I dislike the games. I'm actually in the process of completing one with the speed artifically inflated to 1.5x. I fucking love these games and threads like this are just going to give us a bad name, more of a bad name than being fans of a bullet hell game gets you (namely, being a crazy masochistic nutbar, which given what I've just said above might be true in my case).

Geo Wars isn't bullet hell. There are a few criteria for what makes a bullet hell game beyond "lots of shit on screen at once". Some kind of trick scoring mechanic is pretty much mandatory, for instance.

I've not played many bullet hell games but the few 've gotten my hands on I've absolutely loved. I've also heard of Touhou and how's it's like the holy grail of bullet hell games and the vids I've seen have been impressive. Is it a commercial game or free to play? Can you get it in English, or does that not matter? Must know more!

Sure you find the games good, Great. I think the games themselves are just ok, there are better of the same genre, but thats just my personal taste.

But i was put off of them, mostly because i cant stand the fan base. From my past experience ... well ill just say this, there sort of... scary, from what ive seen they range from; alright, hipsters, your a little bit creepy and over obsessed and finally to holy hell your a lolicon and im just gonna back away slowly k? and i tend to bang into the latter 3 more often than not that's all.

But they weren't done by the same person. Takehada directed Grave, while the other two are Miyazaki flicks.

I don't think it's too bad if someone isn't really familiar with anime, or a sign of close mindedness.
