So did anyone else see Lincoln yet? I saw it the other day. It was for the most part good but I felt it sort of dragged in the middle. Also, almost anyone will know how it ends ahead of time of course.

Daniel Day-Lewis did an excellent job portraying Lincoln.

 

[Chasing-The-Light]

I saw Lincoln opening night. I loved the movie whole-heartedly. But I love history, and not just for the blood, guts and strife through it, but for the political aspects too. Which is why I loved Lincoln. I enjoyed the HBO series John Adams, so I enjoyed this as well.

It was a very interesting take, I'd say. And I enjoyed the moments of humor, from Lincoln's part.

That being said, I honestly don't think that the movie is for everyone. My boyfriend went with me to see if and even he admitted that he probably didn't get nearly as much out of it as I did.

Meh, just my opinion. I'll probably be owning this movie.

I heard that Lincoln is doing very well in theatres, though historically this is not the case.

But yeah, I think I'll be going to see it next week given how many people I've hard praising it. I did wonder if it would just be the history sorts, but it seems to be mostly positive across the board. Though I've still not heard anything about how the vampires fit into it.
