Please tell me this is Fable III, and this is the role Jonathan Ross is meant to be playing.
My god how awesome would that be, Mr Ross combined with Che to form a fairly witty revoloutionary leader. I think that'd make me buy fable 3

Damn straight America is the best. And if you don't think so (and you are american), then you are a commie.

Then again, the masses elected Osama Obama, so I gues America is commie now...
Americans wonder why they are seen as narrow minded/stupid.

Che Guevara fought and died for what he believed in - at least show some fucking respect.
Communism may not be right, but bugger me if capitalism is the best system there is.

Anyway, OT, who knows what Monyleux may be thinking - he's always been two cabbages short of an allotment

I hope it's an alternate timeline, where Argentina was ruthlessly Communistic, and Che is a revolutionary radical-capitalist. Bringing down the social systems to create a free market structure.

That, I would buy.

yeah this is a stupid idea, che wasn't the "great" person everyone makes him out to be, he slaughtered many innocent people and various other travesties

he's not really the hero and revolutionary that everyone makes him out to be

Do I get to kill Che? That's really all that matters.
Good thing I don't live in Soviet Cuba. Though the cigars would be nice.

We don't wonder that. What we do wonder is is how the rest of the world has managed to convince themselves that every single American IS narrow minded / stupid, as if that wasn't narrow minded and stupid in and of itself.

And seeing that something isn't right and taking the extreme opposite approach, slaughtering both innocents and 'guilty' in the process is nothing worth respecting. If I suddenly woke up and decided the feds were bastards and needed killing, and then started doing it, I don't see much respect forthcoming.

Sorry, was just going to edit the post stating I don't believe all Americans are like this - its just unfortunate a very vocal minority are.

The regime in Argentina was violent and was met with violence, I might be glossing this over somewhat but violent regimes will be bought down with violence - if their subjects see this is how governments are made, they will use the same principles to destroy them. It is always unfortunate that innocents get caught painted with the same brush. However, I know what you mean, I kinda flew off the handle a little bit. Muchos apologias.

This just looks like Mr. Molyneux is making some statement that he's trying to make revolutionary products out of love for what he does.
Something like that anyway.

Wow, I saw I had been quoted in this thread and donned my flame suit. I see it is not necessary. No apology is needed. Civility!

The regime was violent and it was met with violence. Both sides were butchers. I just find it funny (and depressing) that the counterculture 'War is not the Answer' peacenicks who often wear the shirts are simultaneously supporting capitalism and guerrilla warfare.

So did Hitler, Stalin, and so many others. I don't care if you fight, just the message you are fighting for. Che was fighting for a bad message.

Can you name a better system than capitalism? I'm not suggesting that it's perfect, but it certainly works better than the rest. Just look at the track records.

Feudalism has my vote. The peons and serfs aren't always thrilled with it, but you can't please everybody.

On the serious'er side of things, the half-socialist half-capitalist system Canada is running isn't perfect either, but it's leagues ahead of pure capitalist America.
What? Canada and the United States economy types are extremely similar. You would be hard pressed to find a country who's economic type is closest to America than Canada's is.

Although, you guys do have those ridiculously inefficient crown corporations and crazy high taxes...

Che was as much as a real life villain as any ever seen. It would be like making a Hitler sim where you put Jews in gas chambers or a Stalin "sim city" where you murder 50 million of your own people.

His actions have set back the Latin American world decades. Even though I love the irony that his images is used in to make money in a free capitalistic system, the fact that people remember him as a hero and wear T-shirts with his likeness makes me physically ill. It's enough to where if a game is produced, that I'll never buy another Lionhead Studios product ever again.
