There are a few others like that. You can change your name though, but only once. I myself have done it, and I'm happy.

OT: Lipo is fine. Not sure how it works, so make sure it doesn't leave a scar.

Meh, it doesn't sound like your that overweight so personally I wouldn't recommend going to those lengths to lose a bit of weight. If your willing to put in a decent amount of effort then you should be able to lose any excess weight you want naturally, i.e. start going for runs, that kind of thing, and of course eating healthy.

That said, I'm a stranger on the internet, you really want to take my advice on something like this? :)

It's your body, your choice, at the end of the day it's your decision.

Weight can be muscle, and it is acceptable if you have the money, but remember..You can pile all that weight back on again.

OK, this isn't entirely a random topic, having weighed myself recently i've discovered that i've gained 10kg in weight somehow, yet annoyingly i've taken up hiking so if anything I should have lost weight.

Hiking is an activity in which people bring lots of food for energy. If you dont use all that energy than you gain weight (a small bag of trail mix can have thousands of calories)

If your weight is such a concern that you feel it is affecting your life, why not rid yourself of it right away?

I see nothing wrong with it.

Your base muscle builds up before fat is burned off. So its completely normal.

Is what's wrong with it.

Its the attitude. If your like "Oh hey I can just get rid of it hurr durr" then the weight is gonna go straight back on. To loose weight and keep it lost you must change your lifestyle and attitude.

You need to keep at the exercise, change your diet, do the little things like take the stairs and not the lift. These are the habits you need to keep otherwise you will achieve nothing.

There's an option to change your name in your profile, but it's one time ONLY.

I have a similar problem, I know you get one change, but I'm worried I'll choose a name I'll end up hating.

Considering an average citizen can not afford bimonthly cycles of liposuction, your point is somewhat invalid.
Here's what I mean..

Assuming the people who spend countless amounts of money on liposuction are either A- Have a lot money, in which case good for them if they can afford it,

B-When I said you were somewhat invalid, you were correct where they are either bad money with, or lack common sense. Key phrase- "I can just get rid of it hurr durr."

In which case they deserve the fat coming back to them.

Or otherwise..

C- They obviously intend to change their diet and take their weight more seriously.

You lucky bastards, getting to change your names...

I got suspended, so now I'm stuck with Echer123.

OT: If you have a terrible metabolism, or the weight is something you just can't control, then go for it.

I think at 19 you might be a bit young to get lipo. And a 36" waist (I can't picture how big that is, but I don't think it is very)? I dunno. I don't think you really need to consider it. Perhaps if you were physically suffering from your weight (back pains and such) then maybe. But perhaps, as others have said, you should look at what you eat or step up the amount of exercise you do. I'm sure it is something like 15+ mins of cardio minimum to get anywhere with burning fat.
Eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, whole grains, and stuff like that. Noodles and stuff are terribly salty and have preservatives that aren't good for you. Having smaller portions might also help.

I'm against really any cosmetic surgery unless you're just completely deformed.

I see no reason in it. Just accept and be happy with who you are.

In that case, they can do it the good ol' fashioned way. Unless of course, there on of these people so fat they can't move.

Again I say, this was referring to the ones who are affected by their weight in everyday life.

Possibly a job. If they have the funds, it'd be much more efficient to rid yourself of the fat with intentions of freeing their self from obesity chain rather than doing it the good ol' fashioned way.

But if they are just lazy, they'll gain it back, just as you said. Which is what they deserve.

The amount of exercise depends entirely on what you have eaten or have been eating. 30mins minimum is what I have been told my trainer to get fat burning, especially if you have eaten something particularly high carb or fatty. And that's high cardio for 30mins not light. That's why a skipping rope is good, it's an on the spot tool and you get up your heart rate going in seconds. :)

Didnt read everything but lets make this clear

When you exercise you build muscle

Muscle weighs more than fat

If weight loss is your only goal you should be more focused on your diet with the workouts not being strenuous and dedicated more to firming. IE less weight, more reps, less rest. Or for hiking i dont know i dont hike.

Accept that like your brain it takes your body awhile to learn how to function properly and with time you'll start to burn off stored fat or energy.

it take 3500 stored calories (Calories you dont burn off in a day) to = 1 pound of fat

If thats the case you need to lower your calorie intake or/and increase your calorie exertion.

Maybe hiking once a day isnt enough, you might want to get a gym membership or something similar.

Oh and liposuction wont give you better results than hard work and exercise. You might lose that fat but you'll look weird whereas doing it naturally you'll look fit, feel better, and your skin wont be saggy.
