Here's a scenario for you, the bombs are coming down and you've been selected to go into a nuclear bunker, assuming everything is going to be completely levelled, what piece of literature would you take into your bunker to give to the new world?

You can only have one, I know it's unrealistic but I'm afraid you'll have to deal with it

A Pre-War Book. I can turn it in to the Brotherhood of Steel for 100(!) caps and a bunch of XP.

Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut

Everyone needs to read this novel! It is amazing and I always try to introduce people to the genius of Vonnegut. This mind set will not stop in a post apocalyptic world.

:( Can you take a series? If so, I would take the Harry Potter series. Just for fun.
I would imagine other people would be bringing 1 book too. So we could swap or whatever.
Yeah I guess you could take a series if you wanted, but I thought people would take the piss and say a series of books that had loads in it or a comic book series or something stupid like that.

in search of lost time by marcel proust, it's literally the longest thing ever and should kill a few years until the radiation dies down.

A blank book and a shitload of pens. I'm going to be really bored down there, might as well come up with my own utopia as long as i'm dictating what happen's in the future.

As long as the batteries hold out.

How about the Jr. Woodchuck Guidebook? That thing knew how to solve every problem before it happened! It's like MacGuyver's brain in print form!
