They still delete anything that hints at an IP. Maybe the LBContra was created by Konami or given the ok by them directly to Sony. But by & far, you make a level w/ an IP that they think is remotely recognizable they delete it on sight. A lot of times they will delete it just by its name w/o even looking at it if the name shows up as questionable. There have been tons of stories on this.Indigo_Dingo said:3 months and several thousand internet links later, LittleBigContra is still there, and still awesome.Captain_Caveman said:it would be cool if Sony didn't delete everything that even remotely hinted at an IP (intellectual property).
yeah the arcade version of the 360 basically kills any hope of having lbp on the 360, since m$ won't allow developers to say "hdd required" for 360 games. also i think the game might be too big for a 360 disc with the limitations they put on it for stuff that's "needed", i think developers have 6 of the 8 gigs to play with on a dvdOnmi said:Becuase it couldn't be done on a 360Alberto GS lolcompany4u said:i still wonder why they dont make little big planet on the xbox 360?? it will be cool if they make it
the most recent story re: level moderation from kotaku is Dec 25 & it has sony saying that they still pull anything that references an IP unless they're contacted by a company saying it's ok to use their IP. So if that contra level is still up, thats probably because Konami has something to do w/ it. Try making something that remotely references something from a company that hasnt contacted them & given a explicit ok, and watch it get deleted immediately. try it.Indigo_Dingo said:Have anything that isn't from that period, that suggests the whole thing wasn't to cause the illusion of moderating for copyrighted content?Captain_Caveman said:http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3171203Indigo_Dingo said:Care to furnish any examples of good levels being deleted for copyright infringement?Captain_Caveman said:That doesnt prove anything.
