For those of you who don't know, PO is the official sequel to F.E.A.R (it will completely ignore the expansions). Anyway, from what I've seen, everyone loved F.E.A.R. So why is this game getting so little press? Very few mentions of it, except for the fact that monolith got the name "F.E.A.R" back, so now it's "F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin." It just befuddles me. It seems like it's fixing the main complaint everyone had with the first, the lack of diverse environment (a complaint with which I agreed), and, according to the Escapist article on the hands-on they got, the A.I is as good as ever (for the uninitiated, F.E.A.R was praised most for its very good A.I). So why on earth wouldn't it be getting as much attention as, say Gears of War 2? Admittedly, it's coming out in February, but it was coming out in October until recently. Any insights?
