Okay, I'm sorry if this has been thought of, if it has, please tell me (and provide proof)

But I was thinking of an interesting concept for a video game. It sort of resembles LBP, but is different in a few ways. It would be similar by the fact that it's a level creating game, where a player creates a level using a number of provided objects.

Here's where it differs. The player would be creating levels of death, where, when finished, they would be able to choose from a number of video game Protagonists, and run them through the level, ultimately leading them to their death.

I think this video game would be a fun way to vent out rage some of us might have against certain video game characters.

What do you all think?

And Little Big Planet doesn't provide that already?

I'm not getting it.
Does LBP let you choose from characters such as SonicX, and Mario? Does it allow you to kill them in a violent (not rated E) way? I don't think so..

Nah, violent as in "step on an anti-tank mine and gib everywhere."
At least that's what I think he means.

Original title there. If you search the internet you might (will) be able to find a game of some sort that relates to cruelly slaughtering your favorite or most hated characters.

Okay, you've made it clear that I have posted a rather stupid thread. If I had a time machine, I'd use it to stop myself from typing the words on that first post.

Sorry!

"like GTA, BUT..."

why even bother? i mean you could just make the same game as little big planet and exchange the protagonist with a human or a monkey or something else and just sell it as is. with that level of creativity, you're not getting anywhere.

the game industry needs people that can think for themselves and make up new stories that are neither "generic soldier with special weapons bla bla" or ripping off already existing franchises. plagiarism is bullshit.

There was a freeware game called lamers. It was a parody of lemmings, where you had to kill everyone as opposed to save them.
