Everytime i come to this forum i hear many people talk about the upcoming new releases such as Dead rising 2, Halo reach and Fallout new vegas but i hear anyone hardly ever mention Littlebigplanet 2 which is coming out in November.

Im personally really looking forward to this game. The customisation tools for making your own levels looks to be so much more advance that the first game and the story mode looks to be much better aswell.

So what about you guys, are you hyped for Littlebigplanet 2?

I don't have a PS3, but LittleBigPlanet has always impressed me because of it's creation tools. Much like Halo's Forge, the best part of the game isn't playing what was already made, but making your own pieces of art with the tools given.

Didn't somebody make a working calculator with the LBP1 tools? Absolutely fantastic.

I'll surely buy it day one, but I'm not as hyped as I was with the first game.

I just found the level-building in LBP a bit ungratifying: No matter how much effort and imagination you put into making a level, it was always defeated by "rocket rollercoaster #4783".

But I guess that's the gaming industry in a nutshell.

If I had a PS3, I'd be more excited. The first game was awesome. I'm sure the sequel will be too.

I wish I had some extra cash floating around...

I honestly haven't been keeping up with it much, but if it's as good as the original LittleBigPlanet, then definitely. That game alone is what sold me on buying a PS3, as silly as that might sound.

True but their has been some popular breathtaking levels i have played like the mario and bioshock levels to mention a few.

But... i do get what you mean, i once saw a level which was just a fast rocket car and a steep hill and that got over 5 million plays!

That really did confuse the hell out of me.

No, I am not hyped for LBP 2. I did not particularly like the original, and the only thing that seems to be changed in the sequel is more stuff added to the level editor. Nothing to fix terrible platforming, as far as I have heard anyway. Until I hear that they have fixed that, I will not think about buying the game.

No. I did not know there was going to be a second one and I haven't played the first. I don't have a PS3 and have no intention of getting one either.

The original is one of favourites so yes I'm hyped, I can't to see what other people create as there where some very original and well done levels (as well as a lot of shit).

Its basicaly LBP, but with a better editor, to the extent where ppl have made racing games (from a top down view perspective), RTS's, RPGs...

I'll get it. I haven't played LBP ever since my PS3 died and I got a slim. Thing is, my gamesaves and stuff are on the still dead PS3, so I haven't touched a few games. The level creating looks better than the first by far, it'll be awesome to get my hands on it!

Oh... and don't forget the fact that you can connect multiple levels together (one of the greatest new features in the sequel).

Not at all, platformer's are the lowest form of gaming to me. The fact that you can create your platforms/games doesn't interest me in the least.

Haven't the PC guys had this kind of stuff for donkey's years? Gary's mod springs to mind. The fact it's on a console isn't impressive.

Theres also the blatant robbing with the DLC, there still releasing new costumes for LBP1, I think if you bought all the DLC it would be more than the game cost on release.
