I was perusing the Escapist forum during my insomnia period due to my internal clocked being so royally screwed that there's a crown perched neatly above it's asshole, and I saw the alway popular Find Fellow Escapists Near you [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.267925-Find-fellow-escapists-near-you] and an idea occurred to me.
What if there was a map? an interactive online map, onto which Escapists can place a virtual pushpin into their general geographic locations. Then attach their user name to said pushpin. And this map would be save-able, one could go on and find all the other escapist who had placed a pushpin before them. And we can be brought closer together as a community of like minded individuals, by that there are those who share not only our interests, but also geography locations.
So I did what any rational mind does when faced with a question in the years since the mid 90's, I consulted Google. And, to my shock, I discovered nothing that would fit the bill of what I'm looking for, at least nothing that was free.
So I put the question to my fellow Escapists. Am I talking coherently enough (sleep deprivation is kind of a delusional mess), and if so, do you know of anything that would fit the bill of what I'm looking for, so I can introduce it to this forum and make the find fellow escapists thread outdated.
