It seems that I do a hell of alot more waiting then I do playing some games. Example: Gears of War 2 online. The matchmaking in that game is still horrendously bad on some days, today being one of them. But this isn't just about that, its about all loading times...and how you spend your time during them.

I have my computer right here so as I wait, if its available(as in, nobody else is on it) I'll take a looksie as to whats going on here at the Escapist or some other online stuff.

So, what do you guys do during load times?

And yes, that may or may not be a Tropic Thunder quote.

Repeat till in game or passed out.

I talk to the people in my xbox live party, check my email or just look at random junk on the yahoo/joystic/escapist/digg front pages. Or if all else fails talk to my girlfreind.

I usually think of some random goal I could accomplish once the match or game starts. That or I get a soda or water. And I look at my messages if I have the soda already.
