Before people start posting any more doom and gloom than they already have, let me present to you our Editor-in-Chief's note on this:

Encaen said:
Rest assured, we have more video shows in the works and ZP's not going anywhere. With any luck, the shows we're bringing on will have the same kind of incredible run we've had with LRR these past several years.

We're incredibly sad to see LRR go, as we've had an exceptional relationship with the crew for going on forever here at The Escapist. Unfortunately, as Graham mentioned, viewership is down on Unskippable. It doesn't make sense for us to continue the show with the current agreement, and it doesn't make sense for LRR to continue the show at lower rates.

To everybody that just can't get enough LRR: I'd encourage you all to go check out their Patreon [https://www.patreon.com/loadingreadyrun] and consider supporting them there.

To the LRR Crew: We love you! See you at PAX!
I wish we could have found a way to keep it going, but objective realities are just that.

I don't think the Escapist should try and do more scripted weekly content.

They should really consider doing live, streaming, LP style content with the more popular creators (at least the ones who're still here).

That's a shame they're leaving, Feed Dump has been on my watch list for quite a while. We're now down to Critical Miss and Zero Punctuation now.

One of my favorite LRR episodes was their very first one, the documentary about the documentary. They got off to a ridiculously high start. http://loadingreadyrun.com/videos/view/117/Quantum-Documentary

Holy shit they're making Jim Sterling money on their Patreon (though obviously it's not just distributed to one person, but still!).

Well, I didn't watch it, but it is sad to see a regular show depart. It's like when I stopped seeing Lisa Foiles's face on The Escapist all of a sudden.

1. I keep forgetting that The Escapist had a film festival thingy... Probably because I wasn't there to see it, I guess...
2. Has there ever been a weekly community-run (video) series yet?
3. I did miss the Gatekeeper... and those wizards...

Welp, looks like No Right Answer is leaving too

From the Twitter account itself: "If you haven't watched through till the end of the episode this week, we are concluding No Right Answer on April 16th"

BUT DON'T DISPAIR! The following week will be the start of our new show! Stay tuned..."

So the only decent videos left on here is Zero Punctuation? (No offence to No Right Answer crews.)
Funny story about that....

Hope you're paying Yahtzee enough to hold up that domino effect. It's getting awfully heavy...

Okay. I really need to organise how I follow people on the internet. Maybe it's finally time to start using Youtube subscriptions... (And I am going to miss Unskippable.)

Anyway, my favourite LRR? Ransom [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/loadingreadyrun/3327-Ransom]

I'm not sure what it is about the premise, but it makes me crack up each time I watch it.

(Though while I'm here - can anyone tell what Matt says right before Graham says "Uh, no, the moment's passed", just before the credits? It sounds like Uncle Alan's bow-can... which doesn't make sense.)

Ways to Avoid Christmas [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/loadingreadyrun/2537-Ways-to-Avoid-Christmas] is a good 'un too.

EDIT:
And who could forget learning to blink while Alone in the Dark [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/unskippable/758-Alone-in-the-Dark]...

And the bleeding continues...

On the bright side, apparently we picked up a girl who does vlogs on random topics while naked. >.>

Indeed they are, but one would have to hope that if you're making a click-baity show called The Naked Truth in which the entire point is to make yourself as open and vulnerable as you can while expressing your opinion by being naked, one would at least have the integrity to actually be naked.

...people on the internet do have integrity...right?

I don't! I'm just some horrible bastard who does the things!

*shrug* I watched the first few minutes of one of them, but either I'm tired or it didn't interest me. Definitely one hell of a click-baity title though.

Fuck it, I'm tired, night!

And I'll miss Feed Dump on here, guess it's time to migrate to the moonbase site.

So we jettisened our Truthspeakers for a person who lies about being naked? Stay Classy Escapist!

Well, on the Pub Club forum there's a poll posted by the EiC on whether to bring on a new video series, tabletop RPG comedy to be specific. Only 4 votes as of yet, so maybe that's something any members of the Escapist Stonecutters might want to check out and opine on (there's a sample episode). Seems a shame no one seems to have noticed it.
You mean Unforgotten Realms might come back? That'd be awesome!

In all seriousness, most of the shows that were here when I joined the site are now gone; Unskippable, Unforgotten Realms, Apocalypse Lane, that one show with the Two Australian Kids (I can't remember the name of it for the life of me). All that's left is Yahtzee's Show.

Here's to you LRR. May Feed Dump continue to be a success, even though I don't actually like that show...

So Zero Punctuation is literally my one and only reason to come here now.

You better have strong shoulders Mr Croshaw, you have a lot of carrying to do.

Truth was, I only really watched Unskippable here and caught the rest of their videos on their Youtube channel. Shame about Unskippable but for me not much is gonna change, they're still making great content on a regular basis. And those LRR streams on Twitch so good. So, so good.

I came for ZP, and stayed for it along with Unskippable, Lisa's Top 5, Movie Bob, Uncivil War and occasionally Critical Miss.

Why are all the things I like going away? :( The loss of Unskippable is just awful. Don't get me wrong; for the past while I do think they've been a bit hit-or-miss, but when they hit it tends to be absolutely hilarious - enough that I still make a point of watching it every Monday.

captcha: "jump over" - WHERE? Are all these things to be found somewhere else??

I never actually watched or read any of their content so it's no huge loss for me.

As long as Yahtzee stays, I am content.

They left the Escapist when they decided to be done with their Monday skits. I hope it makes its comeback.
