Before anyone comments:
This is not a cheap Too many cooks parody,
it is to thank all those people who helped on Desert Bus for Hope.
Thank you, LRR for that week of insanity and congratulations to 2 Million Dollar lifetime Donations to Child's Play.

I know what you were doing here, but to be honest, you obviously invoked too many cooks here, and it would have been kind of cool if you had turned it into an actual homage to it, within reason of course, seeing how the original is rather graphic.

That said, nice job on raising so much money for Child's Play. It's quite a feat.

Too many cooks is just referencing a shitton of other things all at once, but mostly an intro to a sitcom. A cheesy sitcom intro gag has been done before "Too many cooks" and it will be done after. Can't say I'm looking forward to everything that even remotely draws on the same inspiration for comedy as that sketch being branded as even an homage to it. Too much reference-ception.

OT:
Fun. Hope it was fun this year, I missed most of it because I found out it was going on a bit late :(

I watched you guys reach 450,000$ You guys are awesome for all the effort you put into it.
It's just frustrating that you guys were only 15th on twitch, at least when I was watching.
I feel like if there was any real justice to the world, Desert Bus for Hope would've been first on twitch during the whole week-long broadcast.
But I digress. Love the song.

You are not saying that they are not invoking Too Many Cooks here, do you? They are using the same fond, fond color, fond shadow... This is a lot of coincidence if it's not supposed to allude to it. XD

I'm sorry that I didn't tune in as often because I'm now a uni student with essays and a horrible internet connection. I did donate and watch the videos put up on YouTube.

If Desert Bus the Sitcom were real, I'd watch it.

? Font/Font color? You mean the one they use in every 80's sitcom that has ever existed? Are you telling me "Too Many Cooks" has a license on that now?

:p The most I can say is that this is "topical" at best given that Adult Swim sketch, but hardly anything else.

Are there VODs up for this year's Desert Bus? I missed most of it, and would love to see what I can! Anybody? Pretty please?

Skeletor! Ian always misses that guy!

And good to see Fugi living up to his company's new slogan.

A great event as per usual, and congrats on raising so much money! :D

They also invoke the serial killer gag, with the black, smiling monster costume appearing in the background before jumping someone.. Well, I suppose you are rather adamant about this being not in reference to "Too Many Cooks". Not really any fun running up against a wall like that, so I'll just drop it here. XD

I mean, at one point they put a post-it note on a guy that says "Too Many Matts." That being said, I think it is referencing the news coverage of the civil unrest in Central America.

Perhaps a custom Ash Post-It should be an auction prize in future years. I found them to be most humorous. Also, I found the "I don't need a reason to shame you" Post-It stabbing from the fridge in this short to be very entertaining. Go Ash!

The "Too Many Cooks" thing is timely, since it's been a week since Bob talked about it in The Big Picture.

That was perfection! Well done to you guys, and fair play to Graham for managing to put together a video a few minutes long from... well, about seven days worth of footage :p

You guys rock! Desert Bus was so awesome to watch :)
