I'll be honest - I hate kids. I don't care whether they are sick or not, I just hate those whiny little brats. But as it is a LRR project and as it in the end helps gaming community:
a) stop being a pariah and
b) be taken seriously

So I helped out and donated.

Games are an important part of my life, so if this hobby, a life style of mine helps bring happiness to someone else (be it a grownup or a child) then it's a money well-spent.

That Dr. Who scarf auction was insanely fun to watch.

Holding onto my monies until a later auction. If I don't win, I'll throw up a challenge. Either way: money for childrens!

Gahhhhh, I would happily donate and/or bid but my bank account is emptier than I would like and I have no form of income for roughly two or three weeks. Next year for sure! Still gonna watch it though, LRR is one of the only groups that can regularly amuse me.
Hye, if everyone is bidding enough, maybe part of that form of income in roughly 2-3 week will magically appear before you, and they can scream and yell that they still have to play.

Ok, I haven't been following this at all, why is Kroze there again?
Kroze is one of the main moderators for their chat and has been since desert bus 2. As for why he is there, I dunno, he felt that it would be fun to be there in person throughout desert bus. He was there last year as well.

I now officially love desert bus. not because its awesome, not because its days on end of entertainment, not even because Tim Schafer my question when he called in. BUT; because just under 48 hours in, one of the random facts was the definition of the first half of my eternal user name.

i would have thanked everyone for that in chat but whenever i sign into that thing it crashes my internet hard

Anyone know how to bid on the silent auctions?
You need a donor account. Then, in the donor page, go to Auctions -> Silent Auctions. After that, plonk your monies where they fall.

Late night auctions are best auctions.

Once again, thanks! I'll just do "/msg nickserv identify " for him to voice me right?
That's the one!

EDIT: Also, to anyone that missed it, AWESOME rendition of Iron Maiden's "Fear Of The Dark". Or should that be LRRon Maiden's "Fear Of The Bus"? For apparently not knowing it too well, it was a really great job. Best $50 ever.
