Elllo folks! So I've finally gotten round to getting a second xbox remote. But now here's the thing.

I don't actually know any co-op games we can play together. =(

Soooo suggestions please!

What decent local co-op games d'ya recommend?

ALSO!

Is it remotely possible to like, mix local co-op with online co-op? For example, me and someone in the same room, teaming up with someone elsewhere?

Scott Pilgrim is good fun, and so is Resident Evil 5, if you have a good partner.
I also recommend World At War, which is the last Call of Duty game I even came close to owning.

You could always go with Castlecrashers.
I concur. I would also recommend the indie game 'I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MBIES 1N IT!!!1' for a few minutes of crazy, zany fun.

Yep, provided you have a LIVE account for online play, most games will allow your buddy sat next to you to play online as well under a 'Guest' LIVE profile.

gears of war.

the first game i played the campaign with friends a good 50 times at least. its so much fun with a friend.

the second one you can do co op i know for sure, but im not sure if you can do 4 player co op or not... you can do horde mode together i know at least which is alot of fun with friends! so i recommend either one of those, they are both dirt cheap used.

Gears of War, Gears of War 2. Both have offline co-op and online co-op, but only Gears 2 would let you play offline and online at the same time (I think). Gears of War 3, when it comes out, will probably have campaign co-op on and offline at the same time.
Resident Evil 5.
Halo 3.
Halo Reach.
Call of Duty World at War
Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2

Those are the only games I can think of. Call of Duty Black Ops has zombie co-op, but that's it.

Plants vs Zombies
Feeding Frenzy 2
Bomberman Live/Battlefest

In general, most games from 2005-2007 have local co-op and split screen, while from 2008 on most games don't have it anymore.

I don't own an Xbox, so I don't know... I have fun at other people's houses with CoD.

Yes, but you both need an internet connection, profiles, and Xboxes. (I have friends who do this, someone plays on another TV online in the same match, you just need to invite them into whatever match you are playing online)
