not an specific food in and of itself, but there's some Winnipeg-exclusive (more or less) restaurants that are really good that I would miss if I moved.

Specifically, Gondola Pizza and Mongo's Grill.
Both have a few locations elsewhere, but (especially for Gondola) most seem to be in Winnipeg.
If I liked Salisbury House I'd add that, too, but I'm not the biggest fan.

It's been hard, but I've been slowly coming to terms with the fact that I'll probably never have locally made Vermont Ice Cream ever again. Stuff was so good, it was the smoothest, most flavorful ice cream I've ever had. The calzones there were great too, mostly because they didn't come with ricotta (I hate that crap with a burning passion) like most do. Shit, really, ALL the food I had in Vermont was the best I'd ever had, from simple stuff like burgers to the more expensive stuff like sushi and udon. Damn I miss the North.

Bits of sausage wrapped up in dried out, fried pancake batter.

I pretty much live on this stuff and I wonder why I'm so weak and fat.

I'm going to be heading overseas for a long time in the near future... and they don't have Tim Hortons. ;_____;
