My favorite Korn song is probably Here to Stay. Great chorus, and I love that bassline.

I would also have to say my favorite Corman film is Deathrace 2000. How can you not love a film where running over elderly people gives the main characters points? :D

Haven't made any threads but it's definitely annoying to see it happen. There's a thread going here right now where a guy is asking for mature non-comedy cartoons that aren't anime, and yet half the responses are just blindly recommending him different animes.

EDIT: Also,

The most common way people answer my threads wrong is by quoting the entire OP just to reply. They don't seem to understand that if you don't quote anybody, people'll assume you're talking about the OP. No need for quoting me.
Speaking as someone who does that fairly often, I can say that (for me, at least) the reason I do that is to get the attention of the OP. Some threads can have a dozen responses, and each one of them can take awhile to respond to.

It's a matter of engaging someone, is what I'm saying.
You can still get their attention without reposting the whole quote though. One way would be to spoiler the content of the quote so that people don't have to see it if they don't plan to re-read it. But the simplest way to get a poster's attention if you don't need them to see the quote specifically(and if it's the OP, you really don't) is to @ them. Example:

@Queen Michael: is the person you quoted, and now they should have gotten a notice in their inbox about my post.

Have you guys seen this yet? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1F1YyDPZLX8] Its pretty fantastic.

...

Oh right. Yeah, I see people making jokes at the expense of the OP frequently. In never happens to my threads, they simply just don't post in them... T.T

I get annoyed when smartasses try to find a 'C' route to a moral-choice question. I'm not asking you Mcgyver your way out of a situation, i want you to make a choice and explain it.

I usually make threads asking if I should buy either of two games. I don't recall any derailments. It's as straightforward as it can get for a videogame forum.

Out of the two threads that I've made, it didn't really bother me that they were answered in a way that I hadn't intended.

Then again, they were both shit.

So, the lesson in all of this?

Never make threads. :D

Nah, that doesn't work. @ -ing people doesn't send a notification by itself.

Sooo...out of curiosity, what's with all the lock requests? Assuming the OP wants to talk about it, of course...

Hope I don't get a wrong answer.

Morals aint just black and white, there is always a "C" answer if you're willing to work for it. Just because you want to tie people down to two answers don't mean those are the only two answers. That's why I answer topics "wrong" most of the time. I think about things asymmetrically so I usually come up with answers they weren't betting on or trying to steer us to. As for when I'm OP, usually it's just people not reading the OP or not bothering to become informed about the topic I'm discussing. Back when SOPA was a thing this happened a lot. Be surprised about how many people can hate something without even knowing what it is...
