i have win 7 64bit version.

i always felt more comfortable with the PS controllers than the xbox, due playing with friends, so of course my eyes are looking to the f710 since it has the shape and layout of a PS controller.
but im more curious which one is performance wise more stable. so far i have read about both controllers and both seem to be good.

the games i would mainly play would be mortal kombat and a platformer every now and then. i want wireless to avoid the obvious hassle of cables.
now i already have the logitech software installed since i have a mouse, keyboard and headset connected to it. so i guess i dont have to worry for the installation if i should get the f710.

Do you have a windows?

Honestly, I'd go for the Xbox controller, if only because it'll be better supported on Windows than the Logitech one, and I've never had any trouble with the four years of using my Xbox controller.

But this is a purely subjective opinion, and you should get the one you'd prefer. But yes, I'd recommend Xbox's.

xbone controller works pretty well to be honest. I was previously using a 360 controller but the rubber came off the levers. the xbone controller seems to be holding up very well by comparison to the 360 version

that said, I've never used the f710, so I cannot claim that that is the better of the 2 you are asking about, and given your penchant for PS controllers I can sympathise with the dilemma. There are a few discussions on the topic if you do a quick google for f710 vs xbox one controller

i did look it up between both and in the end i decided to get the f710. it was also cheaper than the xbox controller for windows. i was holding both in my hands and i felt more comfortable with the f710. tried playing MK9 with it and it worked really well. very responsive and smooth to play. got the hang of it pretty quickly when controlling my favorite character. even when i think that the f710 has a bit of weird sharp shape for the hands, i got used to it. holding the xbox controller it felt just flat and uncomfortable to me.
also, logitech has 3 years warranty. xbox not even half of it.

thanks anyway for the feedback. if logitech should fail i will get a xbone controller for win.
