Somebody back there asked about Trebuchets instead of Catapults. Owing to a personal incident involving a Trebuchet and a giant wooden rabbit and a frenchman I have a quite right and rational fear of ALL Trebuchets.
Also somebody asking me if I ever felt like a nerd myself. What qualifies a feeling of nerdiness? Accidentally cutting the tip of one's finger with a Set of multi-pliers while trying to get the screwdriver out? Electrocuting one's self with a cold cathode invertor? Swinging one's Force FX lightsaber around in a darkened room listening to the voom-voom sound?
Until a governing body to regulate nerdom and geekery is established I fear these questions will go unanswered. While the IEEE may be the Closest body in current existence, I would like to suggest the founding of an United Nerd Nation, preferrably with myself as Lord High Chancellor, and generally in charge. I would be quite happy to appoint Ministerial Roles and Divisions such as the Ministry of Pony Affairs, Ministry of Necromacy Department for Post-Mortem Communications and The office of fair Dice rolling et cetera.
