Long Distance Dungeons & Dragons

Among my group of friends we have a couple of Dungeons&Dragons campaigns going on. However with a number of us at college it has become somewhat difficult to play the campaigns in any kind of regular basis. I will soon be moving to Hawaii so we are now desperately looking for a way to continue the campaigns despite this. Anyone know of any interactive grid systems that could be used by multiple people or something of the sort.

I've been told the vassal system is good. It uses skype to communicate and has tolls for the DM to make grids and what not.

I'd link it, but I'm not sure if that would violate forum rules.

I watch a group that plays from everywhere in the U.S. I heard they use Open RPG and Skype. I hope that helps.
