Longest delivery time for a game?

I just came up with the subject when I realised it's been 4 months now since I pre-ordered Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, and the shop still doesn't know when it will arrive, christ, feels like I'm in australia waiting for Earthbound to be released.

Have you had any long waits for a game?

never waited for a pre-order but I waited 2 weeks for TDU when I orderd it online, man was I enoyed every day when I lookt in the mailbox and it wasn´t there

On Topic: I haven't had any, I tend not to preorder games as I can usually pick them up in store on the day.

I believe he means that he pre-ordered it before the release date (which has happened since) and it still hasn't arrived.

Back in 2004, Tri-Synergy (mis)handled US distribution of Port Royale 2, which led to a running gag on the Ascaron forums about how they were shipping the game from Germany via donkey and cog. It was a good three weeks between the game's release and when I got my preorder from Amazon.

What are you talking about? Uncharted got released in Sweden 2007, it's just that the store I ordered it in didn't have it in stock at that moment.

Looks like Knights Of The Nine expansion to me, the expansion for Oblivion. However, I'm fairly certain you can't pre-order Downloadable Content, so if that is the case, then I have no idea what he means by that.

As for me, I pre-ordered Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway around my birthday in May, but then it was delayed and wasn't released until November of the next year. Now THAT was a long wait.
