I remember having to leave a WoW update on overnight in order for it to finish...so that could have been around 8 hours.

I never finished the download, but back in the 56k days, the computer estimated one of my downloads as likely to take in excess of 1700 days!

The Xbox live Battlefield : Bad Company demo took 3 hours to download for some reason - especially as everything else takes mere minutes.

I think when I was 11 and still had dial-up I used to wait 2-3 hours for music and 20 hours and up for episodes of tv shows I liked.

Although, I went on a downloading spree when I first started getting into anime, and Death Note took about a week give or take a day or two. I was downloading so much at once though, it took almost two months to get through five or six shows...and then my laptop crashed.

I remember I tried downloading a TV series for my sister. It were vacations and I went to my cousins for 2 weeks. I set my PC to close at 8 and boot up at 20 (I have a faster connection at nights, and it was cheaper this way). Est. time left was 2 weeks.

Two weeks later I came back, ET was... 2 weeks. It didn't move more than 3% over that whole time. Then my sis told me to screw it and she deleted the download.

Well, I tried to download Ragnarok Online...

7 hours later it tells me that it failed about 5 hours in. WHOO HOO!
Here, here. I've downloaded RO few times already, and one time I tried to download it from 10 AM to 6 PM, then it finally managed to download by 11 PM. I was lucky it was only 5 hours.

I remember downloading the Witcher from Steam. Left it running for the whole day, came home to find it on 6 percent. It turned out that my brother had disconnected the DSL modem, because it kept "freezing up." I explained that I was hogging the bandwidth, and it took about a day and a half more to get it all downloaded. It was like, 15 GB, or something like that.

Even funnier: I hated the crud outta that game. Go figure, considering that is the longest download I ever made...
