Yes. Yes you did.Ionait said:Aaah! Monkey Island! I love that game! I swear I saw it for the PS2 one day at Gamestop but whenever I ask about it nowadays they can't find it in their system. Did I dream up a Monkey Island re-release?

Monkey Island on anything other than PC is blasphemy, and would destroy my faith in everything ever.

As much as I would like to argue that Escape From Monkey Island doesn't count as it is the fourth in the series and is in no way produced by the original team, I will now go and commit suicide by bashing my head in with my PS2, while singing 'A pirate I was meant to be' at the top of my voice...haveyouseen_mywallet said:unfortunately, she's right! found this on ebay. http://catalog.ebay.com/Escape-From-Monkey-Island_023272110352_W0QQ_fifptsZ1QQ_pcatidZ2QQ_pidZ5615QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em271?_trksid=p3286.c0.m271

No. No I can't do it. Nothing in the history of videogames could ever make me forget those wonderful times.Erana said:Forget Monkey Island
I must admit, pirates were never my cup of tea.Omnipotent_Mortal said:I'm sorry, what?Erana said:Forget Monkey Island

How about Monkey Island on your mobile phone? Not an adaptation, the full, original thing? Personally I thought that was the best use for a Symbian phone I've ever seen.Omnipotent_Mortal said:Monkey Island on anything other than PC is blasphemy, and would destroy my faith in everything ever.
Umm, wow. Thats actually a pretty cool idea. Although it depends on how it looks, sounds and feels, i've always hated mobile phone games because of the tiny screen and my annoyingly large fingers.number2301 said:How about Monkey Island on your mobile phone? You can download Monkey Island somewhere, I've done it at least twice in the past. And if you're concerned about piracy I wouldn't, you're never going to kill the industry downloading Monkey Island.
Looked just the same although yeah the screen was tiny but it coped with the low res graphics just fine. My N73 had a small joystick as well which did a good enough job as a mouse for me. Mobile phone games can be a bit annoying but with Monkey Island being so slow paced it was definitely bearableOmnipotent_Mortal said:Umm, wow. Thats actually a pretty cool idea.
