Looking for a gaming headset...

Hey guys, I've been wanting to check out a gaming headset with microphone that I can use with my PC for a while, and I thought here would be the best place to ask about them. I'd like something that's good quality, but preferably $150 or less, if that's possible. Thanks in advance!

Dont belive in the whole 7:1 Surround sound thing, You cant cram that kind of sound into a headset.

Have you looked around in various gaming stores to see their opinions? Dont wanna sound harsh but lately its like users are too lazy to do some research on these topics and expect us to do it for them. :S

Honestly, I haven't. That might be something I want to do to narrow down my product range I suppose? (and to take a lot of the work off you guys )

Check out the Razer headsets, expensive but well good.

I'm no pc headset expert, but turtlebeach has some great console headsets, I'm not sure whether they have the same product quality for pc though...

EDIT: Alright, I found a Razer headset that has good reviews and looks really good to me. I'll seriously consider buying that one. Thanks a bunch guys!

I'm afraid I already purchased the Razer Carcharias, and I'm very pleased by it.
