Looking for a good keyboard and (maybe) mouse that don't use drivers.

Ok it's basically what the title says right now I have a Logitech G510 and a Steelseries Ikari and I'm looking to replace the keyboard at least. I hate this freaking keyboard since it has so many problems. The volume buttons on it don't work half of the time it won't work AT ALL on startup so if I need to hit any keys while booting up well too bad, and the LCD panel won't come back up if I put the computer to sleep then use it later I have to restart the computer. The only thing this keyboard has going for it is some of the stuff in the LCD panel but that does not outweigh its problems. As for the mouse I'm not sure if the problems I was having eariler were some driver booting up or where it was plugged in at so hence why I said maybe. So if anyone has any recommendations (preferably not by logitech since apparently a lot of their stuff is low quality from what I hear) they would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Razer Lycosa that I bought a few weeks ago for my new desktop. It's a pretty good keyboard, and I've been using Razer products for about 2 years now. I'm pretty sure it works without the drivers, although with the drivers you can make some gaming macros and such. It has touch sensitive volume button, and three backlighting setttings (ON, OFF, and WASD only). I also have a Razer Naga mouse that I really enjoy. Best computer mice I have ever used.
