Looking for a hack n' slash

Hey there fellow gamers, i am looking for a good hack n slash, (simliar to the LOTR games on the ps2), for my 360 over the hollidays. any suggestions could be new or older as long as it's on the 360. Cheers in advance

I agree with Mr. Black. Darksiders is a good, recent hack n' slasher. If you don't feel like waiting, you could always buy DO:A, or Prototype (Hack n' Slash with claws, or a blade-arm!)

Viking isn't that hack n slashy, considering you have to use stealth at some parts, and generally don't go up against more than a few foes at once. Then again, its been a year since I played it, so I could be wrong.

Agreed. That game, and it's sequel, were amazing Hack-n-Slash fun. And the sequel allows you to continue with your character file from the first game if you like.

And i have been looking at some of the trailers for Darksiders and that does seem like an epicly good game, will have to wait till it comes out then

I have a feeling it won't quite be. What with Bayonetta, GoWIII and Dante's Inferno in the same few months it could have a lot to live up to. Or it could be punk as fuck!

Just a note: I'd hardly call DA:O a hack and slash. It's definitely more pause-and-play, especially the PC version. Combat's tactical, and if you try to hack you're way through on normal difficulty, you'll find yourself getting hacked up instead.
