Looking for a new game.

First post here on forums, so thanks in advance for your comments.

My gaming history: WoW (6.5 years), Everquest, Everquest 2, Star Wars Galaxies, DAOC, Age of Conan, Ryzom, Lotro, PW, FW, RoM, World of Tanks, Allods, and D&D.

I am looking for a game that is ftp, has a decent RP community, good, balanced pvp, and that is not a money pit at end game. WoT was a big money pit at Tier 10 to compete in clan wars. I do not mind paying a few ducats every month to compete and to help keep the game running, but I do not want to be in it like I was in WoT and Allods.

any game suggestions?

Guild Wars 2? I mean it's not FTP but pay the one time for the game and no subscription fee. From what I hear the PvP is well balanced and fun.. not too sure about the RP scene.

Welp, you already listed LotRO, that's the only one I know of off the top of my head that's good for RP.

Though I'd like to ask if you actually roleplay in Tanks, I usually do the boring thing and go really fast and get 1 shotted by tier 9's

LOL no RP in WoT. And like you, I get owned by T110s and IS-7 in my E50 Ausf. M. But I miss the RP scene a bit from my Everquest days. Some folks in my RP experience had good character story lines.

my best tanks are my t50/-2's, and nothing's worst than getting tracked in one shot then ran over by that arty you were about to kill.
