I'm looking for a small low budget HD-TV. I don't mind what brand it is, or whether it's LCD, LED, BBQ or Plasma screen. I also don't mind if it's got HDMI or Full HD capability even though the latter would be prefered.

My budget's around <250 euros.

EDIT: It's fer an xbox 360, btw.

I recommend a monitor if it's small you are going for.

Spend 22 euros more than your budget and get this.

It's awesome.

Or look around and try to get a deal on it.

I have it and it's a great display.

1920x1080
IPS Panel
23"
USB Hub

What more could you want?
That looks great... but I don't think my xbox'll work with it? (I'm not a tech genius)

I got a 22" Toshiba HDTV for £140 about 8 months ago. I looked on my Amazon orders, it's the Toshiba 22BV501B. It works great, but the HDMI wouldn't work for me (it might have been the 360 being weird though) and there is no component cable slots, so I got a VGA cable for my 360 for about £4.

Come to think of it, it was quite a bit of hassle initially, but it was cheap and works great, so no complaints.

If your Xbox is one of the ones with a VGA port it will work out of the box. If it doesn't then you will either need a DVI-HDMI converter or a Display port - HDMI converter, both are cheap.[/quote]

Alright, thanks but I'll need to think about it cos that budget was already a high estimate and I can't really afford to go over.

This sounds good too, thanks for the suggestion!

I checked your profile and saw that you were Dutch, first stop for things like this should probably be tweakers.net pricewatch.

Here's the best I could find for you. http://www.koopjeskampioen.nl/nl/co...yncmaster-t22a300-monitor/p43414?ref=tweakers

To be honest you need at least a 32" screen if you want the HD to have it's full effect.
Those are around ?400-500 new. So I would recommend buying one second hand.

Full effect?

The bigger the screen the worse it will look due to reducing pixel densities.
You'll have to sit further away from the screen ofcourse.

There are some 'rules' about how big a tv you should get vs how far away you should sit from it, if you follow those, bigger will be better.

Try eBay you should be able to get an HD TV fairly cheap on there. I got a 22" 1080p TV for £80 second hand mind. It doesn't work with my PS3 :( because it doesn't display 720p WTF? But it's all good I just use it as a PC monitor and for my Xbox.
