Looking for a song

So this is a bit random but I'm pretty much bored of trying to find this song by myself, and it's driving me crazy.

A friend of mine was playing it in the car and I can't get it out of my head. It's a house song (which normally I'm not a fan of - hence why I can't ask him), it's a woman singing, it has random piano parts through it which remind me a bit of the futurama opening credits, though it's only vaguely similar, have no idea what the lyrics are but it may have mentioned jumping at some point?

And that's pretty much what I know of it. So if you have any idea what it could be that would be swell.

Then I'll go scoff at a JRPG for having a whiny, spiky-haired protagonist while laughing at a first person shooter for being mindless.

Yes this is true, but there wasn't alot of singing, plus he had been playing this stuff all day and when I try to think of words I can't really tell to which of the songs they were too, they all just sound so similar...

just so you know the unce thing was a joke a made of course not all house and electronic music is the same. Why did you have to make some message about peoples lives that no one really lives.

Whereas my post was a thinly veiled satire; a lampoon, if you will, directed at your shallow presentation.

what's your usual musical preference? don't be entirely caught up in one genre. I used to be pretty much metal and nothing else. Then I started listening to some Nick Drake, The Who and generally lighter sounding music and now I can appreciate most music for what emotional response it's supposed to entice. If he tries to force it on you, listen to it, looking as though you're actually analysing it while actually coming up for excuses as to why you don't. Then say "I dunno, I guess it's just not my thing". Then he can't argue back
