I was meaning to watch this anime for a while as it was recommended a long time ago in an anime list on Imgur. but I never got around to it. And now I finally have the time, I can't remember the name of it!! Well, I can somewhat. It was all one word. Not english.
It's about a girl who meets this pink cat... Thing who's got kinda big floppy ears and just generally looks very sweet and innocent who tells her she's the chosen one or something. But it's actually much more complicated from there. And it turns out there have been many chosen ones before this girl I think. It supposedly flew in the face of a bunch of protagonist-destined-to-save-the-world-and-everyone's-happy anime tropes.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about at all? If I remember anything for sure though, it's the first two sentences of description I gave. I could probably even draw the cat I suppose as I see it in people's avatars occasionally.
